

TICK v0.40 BETA - A Freeware Windows Dial Up Enhancer Has Been Released

TICK v0.40 BETA probably the ultimate freeware dial up enhancer for Windows featuring logging, on screen display, tools and more has now been released. Changes in this version include:
- Added - New GUI on Log and Option screens
- Added - Tools screen with Ping/Finger/POP3 functionality
- Added - Check for mail messages at connection
- Added - Transmit / Receive LED’s to digital display (for everyone who hides their taskbar)
- Added - Disconnect after X minutes of no activity
- Added - Configurable pause specifying the period between when a connection is detected and before any defined applications/tools are processed
- Added - Complete support for charge bands spanning across midnight (no need for two separate entries anymore)
- Added - Auto Windows - Insert/Properties, list of currently opened windows are now displayed in the Window Title control (N.B. title must also include “microsoft” or “netscape”)
- Added - Maximum Charge + related options
- Added - Apply discount to Connection Charge option + related options
- Added - Apply discount to Maximum Charge option + related options
- Added - Ability to Show / Hide tray icon
- Added - Details of call to tray icon tip popup
- Updated - Auto Disconnect now countdowns in tray area (click to stop)
- Fixed - Numerous Date conversion issues
- Fixed - Numerous miscellaneous minor bugs
