Sound Control v2.47 BETA – An Alternative Freeware Windows Sound Mixer And Volume Control Applet Has Been Released

Sound Control v2.47 BETA the freeware replacement Windows Sound Mixer and Volume Control applet supporting hot keys, on screen display, Winamp and more has now been released. Changes in this version include:

  • Fixed – Application – On Screen Display – Leave On Screen Until Next Operation option now lasts longer than 30 seconds
  • Fixed – Application – Mixers – Blank lines in mixer list
  • Fixed – Application – Mixers – Better support for drivers that return blank/missing mixer information
  • Fixed – Application – General – Support for loading Vista/Windows 7 volume mixer applet
  • Fixed – Application – General – Debug file no longer locked if logging is subsequently switched off
  • Fixed – Application – General – Tab order on several screens
  • Fixed – Application – General – Clearing hot key now also clears associated filename
  • Fixed – Application – General Options – If formatting settings are left blank they are now reset to default values
  • Added – Application – General Options – Formatting can be specified for time that is output in On Screen Display
  • Updated – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Winamp Playlists have been moved to own tab in Other Hot Keys
  • Updated – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Open Winamp Hot Keys have been removed Application Hot Keys offer same functionality
  • Updated – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Winamp Hot Keys tab redesigned
  • Updated – Application – General Options – Several options moved to Winamp Hot Keys tab
  • Updated – Application – General Options – Debug logging changed from dropdown to toggle
  • Fixed – Setup – General – Better Vista/Windows 7 compatibility
