Really Effective

Sound Control v2.48 BETA the freeware replacement Windows Sound Mixer and Volume Control applet supporting hot keys, on screen display, Winamp and more has now been released. Changes in this version include:

• Added – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Can now customise what command is sent to Winamp for each hot key
• Added – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Added 10 customisable Winamp hot keys
• Added – Application – Test Media Commands – Can now list and test all Winamp commands
• Added – Application – Miscellaneous Hot Keys – Toggle Song Time Format
• Added – Application – Debug Logging – If debug logging is enabled a new tab will appear in Options
• Updated – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Many hot keys removed but replaced with equivalent functionality
• Updated – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Old interface delay support has been removed but replaced with equivalent functionality
• Updated – Application – Changed format song time to a dropdown containing standard, time elapsed and time remaining options
• Updated – Application – Rewrote duplicate hot key and command checking resulting in being more reliable with better user feedback
• Updated – Application – Options – Several options have been moved to more appropriate locations
• Updated – Application – Translations – Removed old translations and added new translation messages
• Fixed – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Minor incompatibilities with other players can be fixed as can now change command sent
• Fixed – Application – On Screen Display – Leave On Screen Until Next Operation option is no longer always on
• Fixed – Application – Flickering of tabs when changing option on Options screen
• Fixed – Application – Winamp Hot Keys – Correctly resumes playing playlist from where left off after stopping instead of start of playlist
• Updated – Application – General – Various debug messages to help track down problems if they occur
