The media hot key functionality of Sound Control now supports a limited set of none Winamp compatible players if using Sound Control v3.00+ (available soon).
The applications listed below support a subset of functionality of the media players features and should result in at least the major Next/Previous/Stop/Pause and Play keys being available.

Volume/Mute Not Supported Is Displayed Instead Of The Appropriate Mixer Controls

This informational message is displayed when it is reported by the sound card driver that either Volume or Mute/Select adjustment is not possible on a specific mixer. Sound Control displays all mixers where either Volume or Mute/Select can be adjusted. If a mixer reports that both Volume and Mute is not supported it is hidden. When I Start Sound Control The System Starts To Use 100% CPU Power?

This problem appears to be related to Norton AntiVirus 2002 and Sound Control's Automatically Display Song Title When It Changes option. It has been reported that users of Norton AntiVirus 2001 can run LiveUpdate to download an update so this CPU usage problem does not occur. It is unclear at this stage whether the program causing this problem is NAV2002 or Sound Control.
